Kappa Epsilon Lambda Chapter
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Welcome to the Kappa Epsilon Lambda (KEL) Chapter website. The Officers and Brothers of the KEL Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. welcome and thank you for taking time to visit. KEL is located in Prince George’s County, MD within the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our chapter was the first alumni chapter established in PG County in 1972. Since that time, the distinguished men of this chapter have worked diligently supporting the surrounding community through the fraternity’s national programs. These programs include ‘Go-To-High School, Go-To-College,’ ‘A Voteless People is a Hopeless People,’ ‘Project Alpha,’ and ‘March for Babies (Dimes).’
The chapter also provides for charitable endeavors through its Kappa Epsilon Lambda Education Foundation (KELEF) providing academic scholarships to deserving high school seniors in Prince George’s County.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Kappa Epsilon Lambda Chapter asserts that through its community outreach initiatives, the fraternity supplies voice and vision to the struggle of African Americans and the countless special problems that affect Black men.
Finally, if you would like to participate in, sponsor or donate to any of our community service events please do not hesitate. Your contributions will be tremendously appreciated.
