Annual Black and Gold Scholarship Ball

Annual Black & Gold Scholarship Ball

This esteemed semi-formal event is established by the KEL Chapter to honor and recognize Prince George’s County High School seniors who are recipients of our annual scholarship. In addition to honoring high school seniors, this event raises funds for future scholarship recipients through our collaboration with the KEL Education Foundation, (KELEF) Inc.

This one-of-a-kind affair is intended to further our mission of providing deserving young men and women with scholarships towards advancing their education. Attendees can expect an evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment for their enjoyment.

Semi-formal attire is required for this event.

“We highly encourage the community to come out and support this wonderful event. We know it takes a village to bring up a child in the way they should go and empower them to make the changes we need to see in our communities. We must also continue to shine a light on the paths that lead our youth to successful futures. These things can only be accomplished by modeling excellence, encouraging them, and supporting their educational goals!”

-Bro. Raymond Hawkins, KEL/Assoc. District Director MAAC (2017-2019)
